Company to provide credentialing services for U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs
ATEME and Barco announced Wednesday that they have developed a partnership to work on developing joint H.264-based video security solutions.
A combination of products from the companies, including Barco's SVC-2 video card and ATEME's ISO 14496-2 and 14496-10 encoders offer customers complete H.264 compression technology for their surveillance systems.
In a press release issued by the companies, Barco's market director for traffic and surveillance said that customers can "now enjoy the benefits of ATEME's H.264 encoders for monitoring additional video sources, while re-using or extending their original investment in the Barco real-time control room setup."
